120 – Ballymore
This could go to anyone of the three at the top of the market. 102 BOB OLINGER is slightly favoured for the Champion Hurdle winning duo of De Bromhead and Blackmore. A winner on his last start he had his form franked by Blue Lord finishing 3rd behind Appreciate It on Tuesday. The better ground could suit 103 BRAVEMANSGAME the most however trainer Paul Nicholls had a below par first day. Keep an eye out for 101 Bear Ghylls and 106 Keskonrisk if one of the big 3 runs poorly.
155 – Brown Advisory
204 MONKFISH should wins this. Very simply he looks a big beautiful horse that jumps for fun. I would play the forecast with 202 EKLAT DE RIRE who is also lightly raced but shouldnt have to do much to beat the rest of the field.
230 – Coral Cup
This looks like it should go to one of the top rated horses in the card. A hugely difficult race so pick a few each way and they include 305 MONTE CRISTO who is the choice of retained jockey Daryl Jacob for Nicky Henderson. The 5yo has been well rested by the trainer and despite the rise in weight he could go close. 303 KOSHARI could also bounceback for Willie Mullins and Paul Townend after disappointing on his recent few runs. Won nicely at Cork the race before so holds a chance as does 304 JANIKA for the same connections as Monte Cristo.
305 – Champion Chase
401 CHACUN POUR SOI looks the best horse in this race and is priced accordingly but he has to prove it at Cheltenham and up the hill. There is real support from Ireland who think he could be a superstar and we might not have seen the full force. 409 SCEAU ROYAL will love the ground and has come up short in the last few renewals but shouldn’t be ruled out and 410 PUT THE KETTLE ON has course form over Cheltenham and with the 7lb weight pull she could also place.
340 – Cross Country
505 EASYSLAND was the king of the banks last time out and despite a poor run last time when carrying too much weight he was running on well for David Cottin. Been off since November he will have to be at his best to win this and with a new jockey in Felix De Giles it could be the time to take him on but I wont be.
513 TIGER ROLL is a dual winner of the race but has shown the winding motion in his clock has slowed down and this could be his swansong. If you are looking for an each way play then 506 HOGAN’S HEIGHTS could be the one for you.
415 – Grand Annual
There is no real opinion for this race however 611 EMBITTERED and 612 ZANZA are both well fancied by good judges and 605 SKY PIRATE has performed well this season behind good horses like Allmankind and he could have run in a better race than this but they have chosen this.
450 – Champion Bumper
The top two stand out on form and also on looks with 706 KILCRUIT and 709 SIR GERHARD having been well backed earlier this week. They bring in the best form too with both carrying unbeaten seasons into this but we must not forget 707 RAMILLIES for Willie Mullins. He underperformed last time out but much was expected of him on this day and at a big price he could outrun his odds. 701 CHEMICAL ENERGY could also be better on the faster ground but there are plenty in here with a chance!
