Hi, I wanted to ask a question about bet types. I'd like to understand the MULTI and MINI_MULTI bet types. For each of these the amount wagered on each horse is divided into risk levels (0 through 3 for MULTI, 0 through 2 for MINI). Within each risk level, each horse has an amount wagered and a percentage of the total pool. What do the risk levels (0 through 2 or 3) represent?

I'm glad to see that you're interested in the Multi and Mini-Multi. First of all, let me remind you of the rules of the game. Playing Multi consists of finding the first 4 (in any order) of a race of 14 or more runners by selecting 4 or 5 or 6 or 7 horses. For the Mini-Multi, you have to find the first 4 (always in no particular order) of a race with 10 to 13 runners by playing 4 or 5 or 6 horses.
The codes you mention, i.e. 0,1,2 or 3 for Multi (or 0.1 or 2 for Mini-Multi) do not correspond to the level of risk but to the percentage of presence of the horse in each type of game. Thus, for the Multi, 0 concerns the “Multi in 4 horsepower”, 1 for the “Multi in 5”, 2 for the “Multi in 6”, 3 for the “Multi in 7”. Ditto for the Mini-Multi, 0 for the “Mini-Multi in 4”, 1 for the “Mini-Multi in 5” and 2 for the “Mini-Multi in 6”.
A screenshot is certainly more understandable than a long speech, so I attach at the bottom of the page the distribution of the stakes, as it was at 8:30 am, concerning the Multi which will be contested, this afternoon, in R1C2 (=2nd race of meeting 1): the N°1 Amedras appears in 4% of the “Multi in 4” games, 4.92% for the “Multi in 5”, 5.58% “Multi in 6” and, finally, 5.31% for “Multi in 7”. Of course, these percentages change (up or down) depending on the issues at stake until the start of the race.
